Stop fire-fighting and start problem-solving
Join our Lean Six Sigma trainer, David (Taff) George on Thursday 24 May at 1300 to explore some of the Lean Six methods that can make a big difference to the way you approach the way you work. If you repeatedly find yourself fixing the same problems then you are firefighting.
If you can discover the root cause and fix the problem then you are going to stop the continual firefighting.
• The 5 Why Method is a simple tool that helps you dig down to the root cause.
• A fishbone diagram can then help with root cause analysis. The problem is put in the “head” of the fish and the possible causes are considered under the 6M categories of machines, methods, measurement, materials, mother nature and man on the fish bones.
• Learn some of the main factors that sit under these categories.
