APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (APM PFQ)

The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)-(SCQF Level 6) offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology. Our two day course is classroom delivered, instructor led, using student handouts and the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification Study Guide to support candidates taking the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ). The study guide references the syllabus, learning outcomes and assessment criteria aligned to the APM Body of Knowledge 6th edition.

The syllabus assesses the key elements of the project management lifecycle and covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge 6th edition, including:

Who is this qualification for?

It is for those wishing to gain a broad understanding of the principles of the profession. No prior knowledge or experience is required for this qualification, which will offer the individual the knowledge to make a positive contribution to any project.

How is it assessed?

Assessment is through a 60 question, multiple choice paper examination, taken over one hour at the end of the second day of the course.
