The Level 3 Award in Undertaking End Point Assessment (RQF) is one of our regulated qualifications and is awarded by Highfields Qualifications.
This qualification is for practitioners working in or looking to work in end point assessment (EPA) within the Apprenticeship sector.
It is ideal for occupationally competent people, from any sector or industry, who would like to assess for an end-point assessment organisation. This qualification is also ideal for already qualified assessors who need to up-skill themselves and have a better understanding of end-point assessment practices.
This qualification has similarities to the CAVA course. However, the Level 3 in Undertaking End Point Assessment has only 24 guided learning hours, a total qualification time (TQT) of 60 hours.
You will be asked to attend two days of classroom sessions at our ELS offices in Harwell, Oxfordshire. Remote delivery and support is also available if required.
You will learn about different assessment methods that are used in the majority of assessment plans for approved apprenticeship standards i.e. knowledge tests, professional discussions, practical observations and work projects.
You will get to go through end point assessment plans and assess learners’ evidence.
There is a short assessment at the end of the two days.
You will be provided with a trainer and assessor who will guide you through your qualification.
You will build a portfolio of evidence using a variety of evidence.
You will be provided with an internal quality assurer (IQA) who will check the quality of your work and ensure that assessment judgements made on your own work by the ELS assessor are fair and consistent.
